Emma (they/them) is an illustrator. They find fulfillment in being able to convey newfound knowledge creatively through visual design. During their free time, they like to drink sweet beverages, listen to bad (but good) music, and read about fish.

Valerie Win Liu

Valerie Win Liu (They/He/She) is Burmese-Chinese-American Artist, Illustrator, and Designer from the Bay Area. They like to work with a variety of mediums: paint, mixed media, sculpture, upcycled materials, digital art and more. In their work, Valerie likes to explore themes such as joy, queerness, humor, curiosity, community, and discovering ways to encourage expression. They’ve collaborated alongside clients such as HopeLab, The San Francisco Public Library, Sammy Rae & Friends, and more to create illustrations, murals and designs to be incorporated into their projects.

Emma is an artist and aspiring filmmaker from British Columbia, Canada. They are passionate about collaborative storytelling and using art and media as a means of translating and amplifying broader social truths. One book that leaves her in awe at the power of creative works is The Dispossessed by Ursula K. Le Guin.
